These sorts of ads can be just made up of text or they can be little video to encourage people onto your site. the pros of these types of advertisements are that they can be very diverse, they can have a lot of reach, they are exceptional for targeting niche audiences and they are measureable. However there are downsides also, Adblockers will completely hide your ad and also given the nature of these types of ads people often just completely ignore them.

- Content Marketing

What is content marketing: "content marketing is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience and-, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action." (What is Content Marketing?, 2020) this quote sums up what content marketing is perfectly. all the big companies are using this sort of thing to market their products these days for instance Blizzard, when overwatch came out blizzard where making these movie quality animated shorts that showed off character backstories and lore. this sort of stuff ands intrigue and ends up with a lot of people buying your game.

- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

"Search engine optimization is the process of getting traffic from the "free", "organic," "editorial," or "natural" search results on search engines" (What Is SEO / Search Engine Optimization?, 2020). All search engines for example google and youtube have an algorythm that ranks search results. for instance if I search twitter on google, google has determined that the best result for that keyword is twitter.com  SEO is very useful when trying to get your product out there as it allows you to target specific keywords and rank in google search for your prefered niche.
