Two Email Marketing Techniques

Email marketing is a powerful means of marketing that is done throught email. it is powerful because when you are emailing potential buyers, the only people you can email are people who have already expressed interest in your game or company. This is why it is very different from say display media advertising, it does not specifically target "new" potential buyers. This means has a very high return on investment as it is very cheap and can be sent out to hundreds of people. The emails can be made very personal with very versatile option such as images and videos.

Techniques:

Newsletters - A newsletter is used to imform your audience about the latest news and developments of your product (New, 2020) they can come in many forms, designs and layouts allowing them to be super customisable. Newsletters are so powerful because they create a connection between yourself and you customers as you get to show off your brands personality and allow them to build trust with you, you also make them feel like there in the loop. All of this builds loyalty towards your brand. Not only all that but if done correctly they can also drive traffic to your website or sales of your product.

Cold / Prospect Emailing - This is the practice of sending unsolicited emails. This is actually illegal if you are cold emailing potential customers HOWEVER it is perfectly acceptable if you are emailing other buisnesses for instance you can email journalists for them to review your game, you can email other companies for collaborations and things like that. this is a powerful way to open into a new market as well, As long as your not email consumers.
